Hello,
NEBICARD H has nebivilol and HYDROCHLORTHIAZIDE.
NEBIVILOL is a beta blocker and has side effects of fatigue, low heart rate, hypotension etc.
HYDROCHLORTHIAZIDE can cause HYPOKALEMIA,HYPONATREMIA,HYPERGLYCEMIA etc but in higher doses of 50 mg or above but is generally safe in dose of 12.5.
However NEBICARD H should be avoided in diabetics and ideally you should be put on ACE INHIBITORS OR ARB's.
Your BP is high and must be controlled meticulously with eticulous control of blood sugar levels and serum lipid levels so as to avoid various future mcro as well as macro vascular complications.
Observe proper dietary control and do regular acerbic exercises for at least 45 minutes a day.
Thanks

hi,
for both diabetes and high BP you need to take treatment for life long
the drugs for these will not have major side effects, except very rare side effects which warrant stopping of treatment.

frequent followup like once a month is essential to modify the dose or change the tablet as per the blood pressure changes.

some common side effects are
mild insomnia, stomach pain, headache, fatigue, nausea, rashes, and dizziness

go for brisk walk or play something daily for 30-45 minutes. reduce salt consumption, direct sugars you should be fine.

wishing you good health
