Prescribed Tramadolacet And Cozopiclone For Polyfibromyalgia And Deteriorated Disc In Lower Back. Can Oxycodone Be Taken?
My wife has been prescribed tramadolacet lyrica co zopiclone andlisinopril she also takes pregabalin. A year ago these drugs were helping with her pain although the effects have diminishes significantly now to the point where they don't seem to be working effectively at all. Originally she was taking oxycodone 5 mg but we took her off it as it seem to strong . She has been diagnosed with poly fibromyalgia and she also has two deterioted discs in her lower back. My question is whether it would be possible to try a 1 mg piece of the oxy as at this point it will be at least nine to ten months before she can see a pain specialist?
Hi, it appears that the drugs she is using might loose their potency, due to the early deactivation. if she use 1mg of oxycodeine it may not be suffecient for her pain. I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and to be continued one injection every week. and NSAIDs periodically changing. Thank you.
