Prescribed An Injection Stone. Pain And Swelling. Is This Normal?
Doctor prescribed an injection stone 1000mg in every 4 days for better fertilization/pregnancy. First injection was given on yesterday but even after 24 hrs, the pain is still there and the whole area around the injecting point has swelled. Just wanted to know that, whether it is normal or not? If it is normal, then what is the remedy for pain relieving?
I am sorry to hear about what you are experiencing.
Though injections into the muscles are relatively safe, some complications can develop after receiving an injection. From your symptoms, I am afraid you have a reactive inflammation that can eventually lead to an abscess build up.
I will suggest you hold on with the other injections because they are not meant to treat any life threatening situation right now. Take some pain killers, apply cold compress and observe the swelling over 2days. if it is growing bigger, or you develop fevers, then you need to get consulted. Then remember to tell your doctor about this.
I wish you good luck as you try to get this problem sorted out. Wish you good health.
