i have pcod .. and i have been taking diane 35 since 4 years .. now i have stopped taking it from past 6 months . initially periods were not coming so my endocrinologist asked me to take progeterone (devry ). after 3 months again i got my periods but its not stopping, its been 10 days .. and there is a heavy bleeding .. what shall i do ..

Thanks for writing to us.
PCOD is characterised by irregular periods. Medicines like cyproterone or Dianne, progesterone or devery or OCPs with both estrogen and progesterone are added to regularise cycles. As you are having heavy and prolonged bleed, it is required that you meet your gynecologist. Sometimes hormonal imbalance causes such abnormal bleed.
