my wife,age 45,height 5 - 6 , weight 110 lb. ,her only physical problem is,she is suffering with her right ear drum for about last 25 / 30 years.all this time her treatment was ( when needed ) antibiotic, ear drop etc. she was mainly depended on one ear drom , named GENTISON HC. made in pakistan.she is very much afraid about any type op surgery.how ever, last 2 / 3 months she is suffering with same problem ( discharge of some liquid, pain some time abnormal sound etc. etc. )DOCTOR TOLD THERE IS A HOLE IN EAR DRUM WITH FUNGAL I8NFECTION.and it needs surgery.at this moment she is takeing antibiotic, and ear drop, made in india named ; CANDIBIOTIC. she is a school teacher.she have no other physical problem.some of our friends advised us to take surgery from india... if needed. now my question is : 1. is csom surgery is a major surgery ? 2. it will done under general or local anaesthesia ? 3. maximum time for this surgery ? 4. about blood, if needeed ( A + ) ? 5. total days ( max ) have to stay in hospital / india ? 6.total ( approx ) cost in indian rs.
