Pulled Muscle In The Shoulder, Stiff Neck. Numbness In The Fingertip Persisting. Treatment?

i pulled a muscle in my right shoulder / back region. This correlated with a stiff neck . These conditions sent electrical pulses down both forearms, to my L & R fingertips, exacerbated by positioning of the head and neck . The muscle and neck issues have resolved with anti - inflammatory treatments, but have left a residual dullness in L & R fingertips. This was 21 days ago, and the numb sensations do not appear to have diminished. There are infrequent positional pulses.

SORRY To Hear that,

Ok, there are nerves that comes from spinal cord to the entire area of body so that sensation can be sent to the brain, from the peripheral parts of body.

The PULLING of the muscle sometimes gets accompanied with the pull of nerves exiting from the spinal cord and the stretching/ excessive pull on that nerve causes the problems in the nerve and the function of the nerve is tempered for good giving you signs of numbness, tingling, burning, pain.

Get an better idea - the nerves are like electric wire that are use for wiring if the plastic insulator around wire gets broken of by some reason what happens ? I guess you are thinking short circuit. And that correct, so the short circuit in the electric connection breaks the circuit or damage the appliance some way the nerves which are the wires in human body acts differently in case of stretching and as a result give the symptoms you are mentioning.
