Pulsating Throb In Leg Just Below The Knee. Wear Support Knee Highs. Also Having Problem With Heels. What Could Be The Cause?

Hi, I have a pulsating throb in my leg just below the knee on the left side. I wear support knee highs because I stand a lot in my job. Could this be causing the problem? I am also having problems with the bottom of my heel which is actually the same leg that hurts. I see my doctor in a couple of days and I am gathering this is all related. Any insight would be great - thanks.

Hi
I dont know your age, but from your proffesion i can say your knee pain may be due to muscle fatigue, early osteoarthritis or decrease of calcium. You need to do cycling and proper knee exercise and apply ice if painful. Take calcium supplements.
Generally pain in heel is due to plantar fascitis.
You should wear heel pad, do cold and hot water fomentations. This will help you a lot.
If above does not help plZ consult ortheopaedic surgeon for medication and local hydrocortisone injextion.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
