Raised Itchy Bumps On Legs, Ankles, Fingers, Arms, Turned Into Bruises. Have No Allergy. What Are They?

Hello, i have raised itchy bumbs the size of quarters forming on my legs, ankles, fingers and arms.. they started on the right side of my body, then they started disappearing and turning into bruises. They have worked their way over to the left side of my body and are still forming. It has been about a week and a half since the bumps started. I am not allergic to anything so i cant figure out why my body is breaking out like this. They itch so bad sometimes i wanna cry when i cant scratch them. I would like some ideas as to what they could be.

Hi,

It seems that you may be having prurigo simplex.

There may be papular lesions with severe itching. The lesions occur on extremities and trunk.

There may be many causes...like irritants, allergens, dust, pollens, clothes, cosmetics,deoderant,soap,insects,infections,worms....etc

Even stress, anxiety and tension may cause prurigo simplex.

Sun rays may exacerbate the diseases.

Consult dermatologist for perfect diagnosis.

Take antihistaminic like levocetirizine till itching is relieved. Avoid suspected factors or treat the precipitating disease.

If needed, take steroids in tappering dose.

Apply steroid or tacrolimus oint. on the lesions.

Avoid soap and have dettol liquid bath.

You may be improved.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
