Reason For Absence Of Period After Having I- Pill. Pregnancy Test Negative

i m 21 year old . I took i -pill in October once & in November twice.. In dec. i dint eat up that pill & i dint have sex..My last period was on 9th Nov. as ma Menstrual cycle is of max 40 day... n still my period are delayed.. M worried what can be the reason for this? n home pregnancy test is negative.

Hi and welcome to HCM. i pill contains hormones in high concentration. I dont recommend any one to take i pill repeatedly, its long time usage can lead to severe menstrual problems or even ovarian damage. Delayed or early periods are common side effects of i pill or any other emergency contraceptive pill. Your period will come back and if it wont please consult a local gynecologist. Always use condom as a birth control method and not i pill. Remember It cannot be used as a regular contraceptive method and is quite unhealthy if taken more than twice a month. All the best
