Reason For Brown Discharge With Cramping And Abdominal Pains After C-section

Hi. My name is bobbie. I am 25. I had my c-section 2 1/2 months ago & had this dark brown discharge on my underwear. I ve been having cramping and abdominal pains a lot. I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago. And this morning Hard Sex but protected. I m concerned about the brown discharge. Please help me.

Hello,

If ovulation has returned after delivery, unprotected sexual intercourse can cause pregnancy and hence, this should be excluded through an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres since it is very early to be detected through a urine test. Else, rough intercourse, infection, hormone imbalance especially if you are lactating, are the causes of the discharge. Brown color indicates old bleeding. Please get further help from your health care provider.
