Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 13 year old son has had three 4 day long dizzy spells since January. He cannot concentrate, wants to sleep all the time and is quite emotional and teary. He is going through normal puberty as far as we are aware, and he is generally a very positive active boy. Is this something that could be associated with growth spurts? Or puberty? Or is it something we should worry about? We have also noticed that about 24 hours before all of these episodes he has drunk some Coca Cola - is it possible that he is having some kind of allergic reaction? Thanks, pippa
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Dizzy spells could be due to eye( errors of refraction) , ear ( otitis media) any fluctuations in Bp, any fluctuation in blood sugar or anemia. kindly evaluate with blood tests, ent examination to rule out d cause.
Hope, I have answered your query, all the best, take care.
