Reason For Elevated RBC, Hemoglobin, Alt And Ast With Headaches
last October I had certain lab test that were slightly high hematocrit, rbc , hemoglobin and alt and ast. the dr checked them again in November . all were in normal range exept alt was two nombers beyond normal, rechecked again last week and all are elevated again havin been getting headaches.
I have gone through the question and feel that you have a regular headache. The ALT level is not high enough for you to have an actual disease. ALT is usually raised in Viral hepatitis but since it is only 2 points higher, I think this is unlikely.
There is however a predisposition to you having damage to the liver. I recommend that you try the following to help you. But please do not take Tablet Paracetamol or any NSAID as it can injure your liver.
Here is what you can do: Drink lots of water Inhale steam mixed with eucalyptus oil to help clear the nasal passages Sleep well and at least 8 hours a day Eat meals at regular times
This should help you with recovery. Follow-up after 5 days. Wishing you a speedy recovery. All the best.
Hope this helps you
