I understand your concern as a mother.
However this has been going on for so long that waiting for a few more days will not harm. I do not think it is cancer as it does not have such a long history. Ovarian cancers are very aggressive and had she had it she would have been very bad by now. So please do not think about it.
The likely possibilities from the gynec point of view are
endometriosis. It occurs due to growth of the uterine lining in abnormal places like the abdomen and ovaries. Other causes may be
diverticulosis, ovarian cysts [ not cancerous], mesenteritis, renal pain,
gall bladder pain, baldder diverticuli and so many more. So examination and investigations like
ultrasound are important.
Do not worry. It is just a matter of few days.
