Hello,

Sevista tablet is a birth control pill. It acts by preventing the implantation of the fertilized ovum to the womb. It is a non-hormonal contraceptive. Irregular period is common side effect of this medication. Usually periods, after more than a month results in heavy flow due more endometrial material. If this bothers you or appears serious, let your doctor know. There are ways of reducing or preventing this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
