Reason For Swelling And Itching On Bottom Lip
Hi, I woke up this morning and the left side and of my bottom lip is swollen i think, its bigger than my right and i gave it a squeeze and some liquid squirted out. It kinda hurt when i press on it, little itchy too. Can you tell me the answer to that, thank you.

You did not mention if the swelling is diffuse.Do not squeeze or pinch on the swelling as this can result in secondary infection.
This can be a mucocele because of trauma to the minor salivary gland (accidentally biting or hurting your lip).
Do not irritate the area now.DO warm salt water gargle thrice daily.
Removal of mucocelee along with the minor salivary gland must be considered if this recurs.
