Reason For Variation In The BP Level Within Short Time Gap?

Hi, I had a very stressful day at work. I came back with head ache .For the last few weeks after work when I was in bed I could feel my heart beating hard and like a chocking filling in my chest or sometimes needle type of pain. Today after work I have taken Relanium 5mg 1 tablet. Half an hour later my BP was 167/114 with pulse 112, this was 4 hours ago. I have checked my BP 2 minutes ago 171/112 with pulse 107. Should I wait till tomorrow to see GP or go to E&A? Could you please advise?

Your BP is quite high. I would like to know that what is your age and are you a hypertensive and if yes do you take medication regularly for that. I will advice you that you should go to a physician as early as possible if you are not hypertensive and/or not taking any medications.
Pain in left side of chest, feeling of choking and increased heart rate might be serious if it is associated with uneasiness, sweating and if pain is radiating to left arm.
