Good evening. My name is Dr. Saghafi from Cleveland, OHIO and I am an Adult Neurologist and Headache and Facial Pain subspecialist. There may be a variety of reasons why you are still being held on your medications despite 14 years of being under ???PERFECT??? control? Have you asked your doctor? Typically when my patients have been under PERFECT control of their seizures I consider weaning them from their medications after 2-3 years. If you would like to ask any other specific questions or comments or set up a private 1-1 consult on this network please feel free to contact me at: bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi
