I am diabetic and drink diet drinks and consume occasional diet products. I ve been concerned about consuming artificial sweeteners. At what point would too much sugar substitutes be? Should I try to avoid all substitutes or can you recommend one that is less of a danger?
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
A sugar substitute is a food additive that provides a sweet taste like that of sugar while containing significantly less food energy. Some sugar substitutes are natural and some are synthetic. Those that are not natural are, in general, called artificial sweeteners.
Artificial sweeteners these days are of much improved quality and cause much less harm. If it can be avoided , well and fine.
If it has to be used , I would recommend you to use SUGARFREE GOLD.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
