Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As there is recurrent UTI, I recommend to take first urine culture report and then prescription of necessary antibiotic, which are sensitive at best level and comes under pregnancy category A & B drug group.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The recurrent UTI require its cause evaluation for proper care, rather than just searching for medicines, which are suppressive not curative for recurrent case, until it is treated from the root.
In our clinic, I recommend a systemic work up of the patient with precise history, physical examination, supportive lab and ultrasound finding to figure out best possible treatment plans.
Hope this will help you in this case.
Thanks.
