Good that you have recovered a good post operative vision.
The wavy lines you have mentioned is due to the disturbed Macula[ the central part of
Retina responsible for central vision].
In the process of recovery, as any other body tissue, edema and scar formation happens in Retina too.
Macula will be initially edematous and later settles down with a thin scar/membrane [Epi Retinal Membrane, ERM],easy to cause distorted/wavy central images. This can be confirmed by doing an OCT.
An ERM can be surgically removed.
If your distorted images are not due to ERM/
Macular edema, wait for another period of 3 months for your eye to heal completely and then get a repeat OCT if symptoms persist.
But get it confirmed with your Retinal Surgeon and follow up as suggested by him.
Each eye differs in their healing process and wavy lines are commonly seen in Vitreo Retinal surgeries.
