Recovering From Jaundice And Hepatitis. Taking Liv 52. How Long Should I Follow The Prescribed Diet?
i had jaundice and hepatitis in october. now its appx 2 weeks i am out of it and normal. i feel like eating a lot but have been advised no oily and only boiled. how long do i have to follow this? i am taking liv 52, drink a lot of glucose, eat only boiled, drinking cocounut water, taking some medicines and also honey. can i have more freedom in eating more varieties.
Hi, Thanks for posting your query. Jaundice can be due to many different causes. You have not mentioned what the tests have revealed as the cause of jaundice. Most often it is due to viral hepatitis. You can repeat the liver function test after 4 weeks and see whether the liver enzymes have returned to baseline and plan further management.
