Recovering From Quadruple Bypass. Family History Of Death After Bypass Surgery. Concerned

My dad had a quadruple bypass in January. Never before having any health issues. This happened out of no where. He recovered very quickly. The doctor was amazed. His dad had a bypass in the early 80's and died six months later. My dad is thinking he will not live much longer because of his dad. What should be expected?

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Death after bypass is not familial!
Mortality and morbidity depend on several factors - associated diseases, risk factors, number of grafts, ventricular function, medicine compliance and so on.
With no health issues before, he has an excellent chance...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
