Recurrent Infections In Vagina. Lab Report Shows Citrobater Spp, E.coli In Hvs. Any Permanent Cure?

Hi ..i am suffering from recurrant infections in high vagina. My lab result showed i have citrobacter spp. And E.coli In my hvs. I am fed up of taking antibiotics .as i had k.phneumonia and strep b right before it and i took medication and now it seems that i am having a new genre of bacteria ..is that possible? How will i ever cure from this cycle of nonend bacterial infections? Is antibiotic taken as injection would be more effective than oral antibiotics?pls note that i haven't had intercourse since 6 months. Thanks! EVE777

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The recurrent infection in the vagina are often due to an incomplete treatment. You need proper oral antibiotics according to the culture sensitivity report for relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
