Recurring Itchy Sores, That Ooze Sticky Fluid, On Scalp. What Causes This And Whom To Consult?

I get these big knots on my head for no reason and they itch and r sore and they drain this clear sticky fluid and then turn into a sore and It takes at least 2 weeks for the sores to heal and then it happens all over again...I'm starting to get worried about this...they r always in the same place and there is about 6 or 7 different places that do this...what could cause this and what kind of Dr do I need to see for this

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You might have developed scalp eczema which has got infected.

Treatment is with antibiotics, topical steroids and mild steroid shampoo.

Also an anti inflammatory tablet like combiflam will be required.

A photograph would have helped me in giving closer diagnosis.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
