HI
Thank for asking to HCM
In medical field first thing which is important for patient to have a complete faith in Doctor, otherwise the doubts will never leave you wherever you go, one thing is very much clear why doctor want to hide the truth from you, In my opinion it is better to go for blood sugar test, and just forget the nodule in brain, you can try folic acid on tentative base, otherwise every thing seems alright no need to worry, your further question will be welcome have good luck.
