Red, Inflamed Pimple In Ear Tragus, Pus, Blood Came Out After Popping. Severe Pain, Hard On Touching. Cure?

My daughter has what we thought was a pimple right in front of her ear Tragus. Two nights ago I popped it and a bunch of pus then blood came out of it. We got the bleeding to stop so I told her to wash it with soap and water. Now, she has a red inflamed pimple there and pus drains out of it. It extremely hurts and when you touch it it feels rock hard. What is it? Do we pop it again? If I do that she will scream. Do I take her to the doctor?

greetings,

so your daughter is having an infection on the ear.the skin in that area is very much adherent to the underlying cartilage.
you should give some antibiotic to the child.both local as well as systemic(oral).
a physical examination is the must.
if you can share a picture of it,it will be helpful.
hope it helps.
