Red Ring Around Penis. Canesten Used. Suggestions?

Hi, I have a red ring around the penis, not on the head, just where I am not cirucumsized. I went to the doctor because I had a burning sensation when I urinated. He said I had a urine infection and gave me antibiotics which has made burning going away and now I urinate normal. Only thing is red ring is still there. At first I had thought it was a yeast infection and had put canestan for 5 days. I noticed immediately after putting canestan later at night I had the red ring. Will it go away. What must I do? I stopped all creams. Thanks.

Good Day!

The canesten cream might have caused the irritation to the penile skin that caused the red ring if it wasn't there before you started application of canesten cream. I would recommend washing it with a very mild soap and water and observe if it goes away after 3 days or it doesn't get worse. I would suggest to see a Urologist in your area if it still persists after a few days of not putting any medicine on it.
