Red Spots Under Eyes. Takes Allergy Medicine, Cortisone. Why The Bumps?
Hello my son was outside in the grass yesterday. Upon coming insde I noticed he has these red spots right underneath both of his eyes. They look like i took a fine point red marker and just started making dots under his eyes. He plays in the yard daily and this has never happened before. He takes allergy meedicine( loratadine and fluctonside nasal spray) daily for seasonal allegoes and has been on q-dryl as well prior to this happening. i placed cortisone on the bumps last night and this morning I placed neosporin.
I would suggest to wait and watch for the red spots under the eyes instead of applying cortisone and Neosporin. In case the red spots increase in size or number then only we need to worry about them. Such spots can appear following an allergic reaction and since your son is already receiving a steroid inhaler there is no need to apply an ointment.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing your son all the best.
