Reddish Eyes With Pain. Prescribed With Loteprednol. Further Medication?

i have eye redness since two week by now. First time eye doctor prescribed loteprednol. I used for a week but no results. next time he preacribed dexoren s drops. Am using this for week but no expected result. Symptoms are, eye redness, sticky lquid discharge, eye looks smaller than normal, pain. Please give me suggestion

Hi,
From your history it seems that apart from allergic conjunctivitis you might have bacterial infection as well.
Here only steroid drops are not enough but require some antibiotic drops as well.
Put antibiotic eye drops every 3-4 hourly.
Do not stop steroid drops suddenly but tapper the dose.
You may require some oral antibiotic.
Consult your doctor and take his opinion.
