Reddish Mass In The Stool. Have Smoking Addiction And Hypertension. Taking Coumadin After A Vein Surgery. Suggestions?

I had a normal bowel movement with a marble size substance in it. The substance was a little larger than a marble, hard, and red. I am 81 years old, about 5ft tall and weigh about 185 lbs. I am a long term smoker and have high blood pressure. Have been on Coumadin for the past two yrs as a result of a clot that developed after vein surgery. What could the hard substance be?

Hi, You are 81 years old, hypertensive, and a smoker. Using coumadin for the past 2 years. You had normal bowel movement, with a hard, marble sized, red substance.
You are using using coumadin since 2 years so it might not be the cause, if it has happened once you need not worry of it, and if repeating consult a gastro enterologist. Thank you.
