Redness And Sharp Pain In Eyes. Prescribed Steroid Drops, Out Of Stock. How To Relieve The Pain?
I have had this in my left eye about a month ago, hurts to move my eye redness and sharp pains as well as mucous and some burning now it is in my right eye and my eye Dr. called it something meaning it is similar to arthiritis in my eye. He gives me sterioid drops to get rid of it, my pharmacist is out of the medication and has it ordered in tomorrow what can I do to relive the pain?
Hello, It seems from the history that you are sufferring from redness and sharp pain in the eyes and after examination you were prescribed steroid eye drops. I think you are diagnosed with Episceleritis or scleritis. The treatment of the condition is to control the inflammation by using steroid eye drops. Since you have to wait for one day as it is out of stock at your pharmacist, you can use oral antiinflammatory drugs like Diclofenac and antiinflammatory eye drops to control the inflammation. Thank you
