Removed Tumor From Bladder. Advised Lasering Two Kidney Stones And Bladder Removal. Is This The Correct Treatment?
I had a tumor removed from bladder and path report came back and the dr called me in to tell me he needs to start at once, lasering two kiddy stones and then removing my bladder. He said this needs to be done at once and before Christmas. I feel like he is rushing me and it may be nessary but I made an appt for a second opinoun in another state. This appt won't be till dec 3rd, I hope I'm not messing up by not starting now? Also I'm not sure if I would want the bag or to cath 4 or 5 times a day. What would you chose?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
As you have mentioned tumor has removed from bladder. If your patho report is showing malignant changes with extension to bladder wall, then it needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Because malignant cells multiply at a faster rate and spread to other system, which is going to affect prognosis and reduces chances of complete cure. I feel you need to go with your doctors advice, If at all you need a 2nd opinion try to have it with in a week ,
Hope this helps you.
Regards
