Right Neck Gland, Swells When Having Cold Or Fever. Previous Gland Tb. Suggestions?
Hello, I am a 20 year old male. I was diagnosed with gland TB a few years ago. I had undergone treatment for it three years back and I recovered well but the gland still remains on the right side of my neck. Whenever I have fever or catch a cold the gland swells up. Should I opt for further treatment? Also, I want to know whether the gland is affecting my body growth and weight.
The gland can be removed by surgery if TB is cured. This can be determined by ESR complete blood count, Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) etc If there is recurrence then go for re-treatment
