Right Thyroid Removed For Large Non Cancerous Nodule. Left Thyroid Small Nodules Present. Is It Necessary To Visit Endocron?
i am almost 43 yrs old, have a dx of hashimoto's yet I am not on meds yet. I have recently been dx with 2 simple ovarian cysts on right ovary (1.8 & 1.9 cm) and a septated cyst (1.6cm) on left ovary. heavier than usual periods I am having a lot of gas and very few bowl movements (2 small somewhat hard in last 7 days when i am normally an every day every other day) Could this all be related to my thyroid. I normally have regular periods and bowel movements. I had my right thyroid removed 12 yrs ago due to a large non cancerous nodule. My left thyroid has small nodules. I do see an endocron. who reports my TSH is normal. last checked it was 2.6
If you had undergone removal of the cancerous nodule, your TSH is normal and your other nodules are not growing there is no point in visiting your doctor. However, if your other nodules are increasing in size, I would suggest you to see your doctor ASAP
