Risen Bump On Butt Crack Which Is Painful. History Of Pilonidal Cyst. What Should I Do?

I think I have a risen bump. I have a lump on in my butt crack. I had it three to four days. and I had a pilonidal cyst before and it affected my back. it was very painful to move. but what I have it doesn't affect my back. but it is a bit painful and annoying. The lump isn't visible on the outside but by touch I can feel it and its hard. what should I do?

Hi

Looks like you have developed a lesion of folliculitis.
This is basically an infection of the root of hair follicle.

You should clean the affected area with a mild antiseptic lotion twice a day.
Apply a topical antibiotic cream over it.
You might need oral antibiotics if the lesion persists inspite of therapy
Do not apply any other oils or creams over it.

Hope it helps
