Round, Red Raised Spot On Left Arm Near Elbow. Symptoms Of Ring Worm?
This morning I noticed a round, red, raised spot on my left arm near the elbow crease. it's about a half inch wide and has a scaly top on it. it's doesn't itch unless I touch it otherwise it doesn't hurt either. it almost looks like ring worn but not sure what the symptoms are for that our maybe I just got a small spider bite? your help is much appreciated!!! :-)
Hi i think the description given by you is typical of tinea infection except for itching.usually spider bite causes erythema with sore formation.it can be treated with flucanazole 150 mg weekly once for 4 weeks and application of sebifin ointment over the lesions.use of atarax 25 mg at night if itching is present
