hi my wifes work mate has a rusty coloured ring wrapping around her leg at the bottom of her calf muscle and its now sunken the skin below the ring what could it be

Hi,thanks for query.It could some skin infection or allergy.If it is itching and spreading its more likely a fungal infection.She needs examination and treatment by doctor.At times when such fungal infection are infected they can lead to problems like this.bye.
