Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Hypersalivation can contribute to drooling of saliva from the mouth if there is inability to keep the mouth closed or difficulty in swallowing excess saliva at night.
There are many factors that contribute to this such as GIT disturbances, pregnancy, excessive starch intake, pancreatitis, liver diseases, oral infections.
I would suggest you to visit the Dentist and get thorough checkup done.
Drugs such as anticholinergic can be useful.
Use of antiseptic mouthwash will have drying effects.

Hope this helps out.

Regards..

Dentist Dr. Yogesh Tripathi's  Response
hello
hypersalivation can be due to many reasons which may include salivary gland disfunction or any other systemic disease or cavities in teeth where food is lodged

what i would suggest that you visit your dentist who would find out the exact reason
in the mean while you can do following
1.lukewarm saline rinses for 4-6 times daily
2.antiseptic mouthwah for a couple of times
3.try keeping a clove or ginger which will keep the mouth dry
anticholinergic drug can be used but only after prescription of your dentist
hope this helps

Homeopath Dr. Anshita Singh Rathore's  Response
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum

This problem is seen in people who have recurrent oral ulcers. Do you have any of those? Also gum disease (gingivitis) can cause excess salivation, do u have bleeding gums?

Homeopathic remdies can help here, (salivation and ulcers) . Please consult a homeopath.

Takecare
