Scratched Arm, Small Bumps, Redness, Eczema. Treatment Options?
I am a 27 year-old female, I scratched my arm in the back of a wooden book shelf and after a week or so I noticed weird bumps around the same area..not until 3 months after I recognized the redness and itchness with eczema which I ve never had before...why am I developing these symptoms of eczema just now and what would be the best solution to treat it? Would untreated eczema spread to other locations?
Hello and thank you for posting your query on HCM
It appears from your history that you have a sensitive skin which is prone to develop eczema and dermatitis.
Just observe the symptoms for a while.
If they do no disappear spontanaeously, then you may have to refer to a dermatologist and you may need medication.
Appearance of such a problem make you more prone to re-develop after trivial trauma.
However, it can be controlled by medication.
Thanks again and take care
