Scrotum Itcy, Dry, Flaky. Could It Be Due To Wiping It Using Antibacterial Wipes?
Okay so the other day I realized my scrotum was itch for some odd reason, like really itch and I thought maybe I scratched it and irritated while showering but as the days went by (2) it seemed the situation got better but today when I got home I realized my scrotum was really really dry and flaky, the skin itself could be picked off but I didn't pick at it. I haven't participated in any sexual activities in a while and recently I got out of the hospital but when I was in they made me wash up in the shower using these antibacterial wipes and said don't rinse off. Could that be the cause of it?
It is quite possible. Antibacterial wipes may be allergic to many individuals. It sensitizes the skin over your scrotum and it is going for inflammation. Nothing to worry. Present it to your physician, preferably to a Dermatologist. With some application of emollients or steroid creams and oral antihistamines you will be alright. Dr S.murugan
