Semen Analysis Test Showed Sperm Count, Severe Oligospermia. On Maxoza L. Is That Sufficient?
I got my semen analysis test, my sperm count is 2.5 million per 3 ml Doctor mentioned it as severe Oligospermia. Later he mentioned few more tests then said it is Ideopathy. Now I am under medication as below
I am married since 2 yrs, we are planning for a baby. Whether the medications prescribed are right ? Is there anything additional that needs to be done ?
Hello. The first thing is to rule out pathologies that may cause oligospermia
such as hypogonadism, varicocele and hydrocele. It is necessary testicles exploration and measurement of hormones levels in blood(FSH, LH and testosterone). If the exploration and hormones levels are normal ,the oligospermia is idiopathic, the treatment that you are taking is right and your case it is not easy to solve because your oligospermia is severe (less than a million sperm per ml).I wish you good health.
