Sensation Of Heart Squeezed, Hypertension, Enlarged Heart And Arrhythmia. Problem?

On Saturday I had the sensation that my heart was being squeezed. It was very uncomfortable bordering on pain.
I have hypertension but take my medication regularly. I have an enlarged heart and arrythmia quite often. Today I have other intermittent pains roughly under the left collar bone and downwards. They are not severe. Quite often I have pains in the night usually early morning. Lately arrythmia has been waking me up sometimes. Do I need to worry? Is this angina ? It does not make me short of breath although I always breathe hard when I lie down.

Hi,
Although these symptoms are somewhat vague, in view of your history hypertension and heart problems I would recommend a visit to your doctor. I think you may benefit from an EKG which may identify an arrhythmia or a cause of the chest pain.
