Sensitive, Burning Skin After Getting Brazilian Wax. History Of Same Symptoms Slowly Healed With Aloe Vera, Polysporin. Any Quick Remedy?
I got a brazilian wax today (NOT my first time) and it is super sensitive when I walk, pee, or shower with warm water. I have put aloe vera on the burning area and Polysporin. I went last month and the same thing happened. After a week or 2 of applying Polysporin to the area it healed slowly. My question is what should I apply to relieve the burning sensation in order to see immediate results?
You seem to have developed superficial skin burns. I would suggest that you should use an antibiotic steroid combination cream over the affected area so as to control the infection. This will take Care of the associated burning sensation and hypersensitivity also. In addition, you can give cold compresses to the affected area. Do not use anything harsh like dettol over the affected area.
Take some oral antihistamines in addition.
Hope it helps
