Since you have got erosion of the outer layer of your teeth it leads to exposing of the nerve endings causing pain.
This pain can come on with intake of cold or hot food and drink.
This is called sensitivity of tooth.
The pain if severe can radiate to the surrounding areas like cheek and the reason is that they have common nerve supply.
To reduce pain you can use tooth paste like Sensodyne rapid and it will reduce the sensitivity.
This will help to some extent but for complete treatment you need to consult a dentist and he will do the needful.

this might be the pain due to root exposure as u mentioned as erosion. In case the erosion is more and the bone is resided in that tooth will cause radiating pain. This kind of pain will last some time and this pain is intermittent. pain killers and sensitive paste will give u relief. apply the sensitive paste like sensodyne or shy-NM or thermokind all over the teeh and leave for 2 to 3 min and then wash this will give the relief . If the pain continues further it need to be treated by only root canal .so consult your dentist and get the needful done.

due to erosion, protective layers of your teeth i.e. enamel and dentine must have undergone erosion which is leading to sensitvity now. apply sensodyne or sensodent-kf. they are for temporary relief. for permanent relief, go to your dentist again and consult him regarding rct or restoraton if possible. if its in initial stage, restoartion will help in stopping sensitvity but if its advanced then you have to undergo rct.
