Severe Bruising On Left Leg, Front And Back And Spreading, Wound On Knee Bleeding. On Blood Thinners. Should Be Concerned ?

My mom is on blood thinners and fell off her bike. She ha severe bruising on her left leg,front and back that seems to be spreading. Her wound on her knee is still bleeding a bit after five days. All of her doctors have been unavailable since she returned from he vacation on which his occurred. She did go to urgent care right after and they cleaned it and told her about RICE and gave her antibiotics and tetanus? Should we be concerned about the continual movement and growth of the bruise? Her doctor is not available until Monday.

Hi,
As she is on blood thinner medicine bleeding is likely.
As still bleeding is continued and bruises are still coming up, it requires evaluation of her case.
Again go to ER and discuss about blood thinner medicine she is taking.
She can not stop this medicine without consulting cardiologist.
They may apply tight bandage over the part after dressing.
Continue with antibiotics.
