Severe Chest Pain Due To Regurgitations And Benign Calcification On The Breast. Need To See A Cardiologist?
Hi I am 35 years old female. I have mild chest pains for last 3 month. Most of the time dull but sometimes sharp. My MD did many tests and found mild to moderate regurgitation and possible benign calcification left breast. Also found trace tricuspid regurgitation. My MD didn't recommend to go to cardiologist. Is it normal to have regurgitation? Should I go to cardiologist?
As you have said that you have chest paiins with mild regurgiitation on echo, most common valce to be in involved in young 35 year old female is mitral regurgitation , and you also said mild trace tricuspid regurgitation , it means that your mitral valve is regurging and in return due to back pressure tricuspid is getting regurge , calcification in breast in your age is normal and mostly a cyst that is benign is the cause
You need to get a review of cardiologist before your heart gets big , plus also do you have shortness of breath ?
I hope this explain your query
Take care
