Severe Cramp, Fresh Blood In Mouth, Headache. Drinks Regularly. What Could This Be?
Hi my partner hard severe cramp / pain for approx 15 mins, he could hardly move in so much pain. After approx 10 he had about a tablespoon of very red fresh blood in his mouth, he also described an onset of a headache . Tried to get him to go to hospital but he refused. He is in his mid 30 s and is a smoker and would drink beer regularly. Can you help, I know this is not much info.

In my opinion your partner may have hemoptysis ( blood from lung cavity).
2nd reason may be hematemesis (blood from stomach due to acute gastritis or esophageal varices).
May be due to injury of internal part of cheeks due to cramps.
In my opinion physical examination may find exact cause.
X ray chest will reveal something.
Consultation with a physician is very important.
