Severe Cramping And Bleeding After Lifting Something Heavy. Have Endometriosis. What Does This Indicate?

Hi. I tried lifting a 5-gallon bucket of paint a week ago and ever since then I have been cramping really bad and bleeding excessively. I would like to know if this is something serious. I'm on the pill and have regular periods. I am not pregnant. I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in 2005. What could it be? Thanks.

Hello, welcome to HCM,
According to my experience in such a case
1.cramps can be due to pulling of abdominal muscles
2.this in turn has aggravated the endometriosis activity in abdominal cavity as a reaction.
3. I suggest you visit your gynaecologist and get an ultrasound to set things in place.
4.meanwhile you can take rest and take antispasmodic +painkiller tab.(mefenamic acid prep.) available in pharmacy over the counter
Happy to help.
