Severe Hair Loss After Using Leflunomide With Mtx. How Long Will It Take To Take Out The Same From The System?

I started mtx jan. 2013, still on it. I didn't notice too much hair loss. It wasn't a major concern until I started leflunomide May and June along with mtx. I stopped leflu. after 6 weeks.
Terrible hair loss. Will i continue losing lots of hair because of leflunomide?
How long will it take to get leflu. out of my system?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Leflunomide can be associated with hair loss in some persons.

It may take a few months , sometimes up to 3 months for hair regrowth to occur.

Since your stopped the medication there should be no further loss.

I hope this helps
