hi there, poultry is one of the most common cause of bacterial infection live shigellosis and salmonellosis so I would suggest that get your stool examined for routine and culture senstivity and start on an antibiotic after taking advice of your local doctor after seeing the report. In the mean while you can take plenty of fluids and lactobcillus tablets to support athe normal flora of your intestine., take light soft diet and do get an antibiotic cover for your infection, take caare.
